About Hill Fastener

FactoryOverview.jpgThe Hill Fastener Corporation was founded in 1957 as a manufacturer of special screws for the builders hardware industry. Our 48,000 square foot facility, a result of expansion and modernization at it's original location, has been equipped to include the best in manufacturing machinery.

Close tolerances are achieved by precision operations, controlled through statistical methodology. The uniformity and consistency of the products are unsurpassed.

test.jpgA modern 700 square foot Quality Assurance Laboratory employs the latest methods and technology for both destructive and nondestructive testing of the fasteners produced. Records of the results of these tests, along with in-process inspection records, are kept for five years, affording complete lot traceability. We are certified to ISO 9001:2000, and in compliance with PL 101-592, the Fastener Quality Act.
test2.jpgAll Hill Fastener products have manufacturer and grade identity. Latest A.N.S.I., A.S.M.E., S.A.E., and I.F.I standards are used as manufacturing criteria for common sizes in Hill Fastener's range of 3/16" through 5/8" diameters to 6" in length, with some limited 3/4" diameter product availability. In the metric size range of M5 through M16 diameters to 150mm in length, Hill Fastener employs DIN and ISO standards in addition to those previously mentioned.
coils.jpgAll Hill Fastener products are traceable, back to the specific heat lot of steel used in the manufacturing process. Material, chemical and physical certificates are kept on file and can be provided upon request. Inspection is performed during each phase of production and the documentation becomes part of the permanent file. If requested before production, a certification to a specific requirement can be provided by Hill Fastener’s Laboratory along with shipment.
